Larch Pass is a 4-night, 5-day trek. The first day is about 8 miles from Billy Goat trail head to Three Fools Pass. The second day is 7 miles to Larch Pass. We camp at Larch Pass two nights and day hike on the layover day. We head back toward Billy Goat Pass on the 4th day. The hike that day is the longest, 9 miles, as we pass our first camp site and veer off on a new trail. We camp before we get to the pass and our last day is a short hike, around 3.5 miles, back to the trail head.
