Our least-favorite run was The Nose, but it should be named Pick-up Sticks, because it's littered with fallen trees. The first of this sequence of photos shows Josh, our lead guide, as he skis into what he thought was a pillow of snow. He vanished, as the second photo shows. Note the puff of snow where Josh was. The final two photos show Josh as he emerges from under the log.

We all had trouble with this run, mostly because of fear of the unknown—you just didn't know what was under any landing. We didn't go back to this one, although the second time would've been easier...
